This notice explains how Youth Volunteers collects and uses information submitted through the volunteer registration site.
Information we collect
We collect the volunteer’s name, date of birth, grade, gaam, interests, and a parent or guardian’s name and contact details. We also record contact preferences and the date and time of consent.
How we use it
We use this information to review volunteer interest, identify suitable opportunities, communicate with the parent or guardian, coordinate participation, maintain program records, and protect the safety of participants.
How we share it
Access is limited to authorized staff and service providers that operate this site, database, email, and SMS delivery. Those providers include Vercel, Supabase, Resend, and Twilio. We do not sell personal information or share SMS consent with third parties for their marketing.
Retention and security
We retain registration information only as long as reasonably needed for program administration, safeguarding, legal obligations, and dispute resolution. We use access controls and other reasonable safeguards, but no online system is completely secure.
Your choices
You may ask to access, correct, or delete registration information, subject to applicable legal and safety requirements. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP.
